For this project, I decided to do a minimal line art illustration of one of my friend’s Instagram posts. The process started by bringing the photo into Illustrator and attacking it section by section. I decided to work from left to right, and start with the flowers in her hand. After making my way throughout the image, I decided on using a thinner stroke for all the lines to retain some of the details and so that the lines in her sweater wouldn’t bleed into each other. Finally, I decided on a pastel, rose pink for the background color.
