For this project, City First Youth wanted several new graphics to promote their middles school service on Sundays. To begin this design, I sorted through photos from the event to select the best ones. I landed on combining the above two images using masks to make them blend together seamlessly. Since both photos were somewhat motionless, I overlayed a purple to orange gradient to make the design more visually appealing. Finally, I completed the design by adding details about the event using a more bold font for the event’s name and a simpler VCR inspired font for the specifics. The youth department’s logo was added to the bottom of the graphic for some more branding. This look was also used to create similar graphics for Instagram stories and print materials.
