For this project, the client wanted a concert ticket inspired design to print as invite cards for their upcoming Powerfest event. To begin this design I set the file up in the requested dimensions and required color profile for the printing process. With the workspace setup, I started by making the barcode and ticket inspired part of the design since that is what I would base the layout on. After designing this portion of the “ticket” and filling it with the necessary details, I began to fill in the rest of the project. I used the space at the top of the ticket to communicate the name of the event and use the collage look I created to showcase some photos. Finally, I used the bottom of the ticket to communicate the client’s social media presence and added their logo for some brand recognition.
